Black Gold Museum
The museum is part of the Quality-of-Life Program, one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 Realization programs, will be under the umbrella of the “Specialized Museums” initiative announced by the Ministry of Culture in its first package of initiatives, which include art museums specialized in creative fields that will be launched in succession in a number of cities across the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Culture aims with the Black Gold Museum to provide quality museums in the Saudi cultural field, which include creative and inspiring models that contribute to the growth of the cultural movement in the Kingdom. It also aims to promote the concept of “culture as a way of life” by attracting broad segments of society including families, students and tourists and all those interested in visual arts.
Regarding the works of the project, The Black Gold Museum works package includes The Museum Building, The Chiller Yard, and external site works.
The Scope of Work shall include the shop drawings of the MEP works and Arch works in Museum Building and Chiller Yard, and Arch works for the site as per the quantities stated in the received technical submittals register. The systems stated in Register are as follow:
- HVAC System
- Low Current System
- Plumbing System
- High Current System
- Electrical Systems
- Lighting System
